Mike Parlett Endorsement Added
"When I first tried the DURGA I was simply blown away by the power and response of this beautifully crafted mouthpiece. The mouthpiece has incredible projection and presence but with the warmth and finesse that other ‘Super Power’ pieces out there lack.
I would have no hesitation in saying, with its revolutionary and unique design, ease of playing in all registers including effortless harmonics and easy sub-tones make this the best tenor sax mouthpiece available today!"

New DURGA Review by Skipp Spratt
Skip Spratt (www.saxshed.com) - Review of the DURGA
"Without further delay, let me tell you what news is news. Theo Wanne has released his fourth large chamber mouthpiece DURGA. This thing just SCREAMS! This piece works very well for me and gives that beefy tenor sound many of us seek out. It seems best suited for louder, more intense playing but don’t be fooled. DURGA is a masterful piece of eye and ear candy that can be tamed to play in more sensitive situations as well."

Adam Niewood Endorsement Added
"The AMMA is a truly wonderful mouthpiece. I like it more and more each day. I could easily use it in any professional situation and my Link blows dead after trying yours for a while. Playing only vintage mouthpieces (mainly a Florida Super Tone Master Otto Link 8*) I would never have considered playing a new mouthpiece, until NOW! As a professional saxophonist, and mouthpiece refacer - my hat goes off to you and your products, Theo. You're a renaissance man"

Andre de Laat Endorsement Added
The Kali 7* has stolen my heart. It has just a huge sound! We had to wait for more than 100 years, but finally there is a mouthpiece that matches perfectly with a saxophone!! Its Projection is so perfect that sound projects more from the bell-bow of the sax than from the bow in the neck. This gives a direct sound with a full rich tone and well specified center. After playing the KALI I fell more deeply in love with the saxophone. I just thoroughly enjoyed playing and listening to myself."

We are very excited to release the DURGA tenor mouthpiece.
The DURGA is the culmination of many years of research and testing. We are overjoyed to unleash it into the world. No longer do we, as saxophonists, have to suffer with a thin and nasal sound in order to get huge power and projection. The DURGA is at once, powerful and hugely projecting and fat, warm, and huge! The combination is just downright sexy!

The secret to the DURGA lies in a uniquely designed baffle coupled with deeply rounded inner side walls, and a special power version of our True Large Chamber that incorporates a Power Ring. The Power Ring is a ring set at the back of the chamber that radically tapers the chamber down. This allows the mouthpiece to get all the benefits of our True Large Chamber AND the power inherent in small chamber mouthpieces.
No other mouthpiece in history has been designed like this before, and it will simply blow you away. It is so much fun to play! It has that huge Link sound, but makes everything before it just sound stuffy in comparison!

Keyan Williams Endorsement Added
"As a jazz saxophonist for many years I thought the perfect mouthpiece was a myth until I played the Kali. Big bright sound, but with a CORE, and that makes all the difference. I can go from a sweet altissimo to a rich low b-flat without a hitch. Versatility and power, all in an attractive package, makes the Kali the mouthpiece for me. Theo, I can’t say thank you enough."

"I’M TOTALLY IN LOVE WITH MY KALI! It is the’ most expressive mouthpiece I have ever played. The endless tonal possibilities I am able to produce now on the saxophone is akin to having every shade of every color known to man on my palette. Any tonal color is achievable with this mouthpiece! Equally impressive are the nuances in volume that are achievable.

Skip Spratt KALI Review added
"...Over the years I have played on Dukoff’s, modified Links and an original hand-made Guardala MBI exclusively for 14 years. Following the 14 years on the Guardala MBI, I felt the need for change. That is when Theo customized a new, NY Link for me. That Link gave me more fullness of sound, yet with better control and than the original MBI. This KALI allows me to recapture some of what I had in that original Guardala, while it maintains the bonuses associated with the large chamber. Now I just have to get a KALI to keep!"

Tim Price, endorsement added.
"The KALI is the most extraordinary metal mouthpiece I have ever played. The KALI creates a grace and freedom that is just perfect. The pitch is super even on varied horns and it does NOT exasperate your chops at all like other metals.
The PARVATI is deep, full, and huge. It's got a vibe I'm loving. Man is it strong. Killin'...no question.
Theo has created new metal mouthpieces that are totally profound! The originality of these new pieces, such as the KALI and PARVATI, shows Theo's culminating work in his distinguished career. BOTH are beyond my dreams. He truly is one of today's innovators! I urge you to check out these savvy new mouthpieces by Theo, and be ready to embark on a prolific and creative journey.”

"”Thanks, Theo! You keep making choosing a mouthpiece difficult for me! I´ve been playing and thoroughly enjoying the AMMA for about half a year. Now the KALI, another superb player, is also coming with me on future concerts! They both sound and feel great and are potential first choices.
This seems to be what one may call a luxury problem: If you´re a coach, and you happen to have the two best quarter backs in the league in your team, it´s difficult to chose who´ll play, but you know you´ll win either way...Congratulations!!

We are proud to announce that the legendary Wolfe Taninbaum is now available to do custom refacing.
Wolfe Taninbaum, the designer of the original Bari reeds and mouthpieces was a musician who played under the stage name of Wolfe Tayne for such famous orchestras as Les Brown, Benny Goodman and Jimmy Dorsey. He also sat in with the CBS and NBC orchestras. In 1952 he developed his first synthetic reed. Wolfe's innovations didn't stop there. He also helped create a unique facing for alto and tenor mouthpieces that Otto Link applied to his larger chamber blanks, calling it the "WT."
You can now work one on one with the legendary Wolfe to get your mouthpieces custom faced at his home in Florida. He is also accepting mail-ins.
